Trinity Cooperative Preschool

Trinity Cooperative Preschool is a service of Trinity Lutheran Church to assist families in the early Christian training of their children.

We believe that preschool children have a variety of needs.

Emotionally the child needs a sense of security in relationships beyond the home. Guided and disciplined with love and forgiveness, the child develops a sense of personal worth.

Physically the child needs large and small muscle activity for the developing body.

Intellectually he is ready to increase the range of experiences and to express this with a growing vocabulary.

Socially there is a need to interact with their peers and adults, as they learn love and trust.

Spiritually, we believe the preschool child needs to know and come to trust in God's love for each one.

With such and understanding of a preschool child, our curriculum strives to satisfy the needs of your preschooler.

Who May Come?

Trinity Cooperative Preschool is for boys and girls who are physically, emotionally, and socially ready to benefit from a classroom environment. We welcome children aged three and four.

When do they Come?

Preschool is in session from September to May. In general the preschool follows the Vernon Public School System for vacations and days off. In case of bad weather, the Preschool is closed whenever the Vernon Schools are closed.

The four year olds meet on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for 2 ½ hours. The three year olds meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays for two hours.
